Rape
The unwanted penetration of the body by someone else. The precise juridic term depends on the country.
It not only includes sexual intercourse but also the penetration of the mouth or anus. It also doesn't only have to be done with the penis but can also be done with the fingers, tongue or objects. Even french kissing can be rape.
Both men and women can be a victim of rape, even between marriage partners rape can happen since being married doesn't contain automatically permission for sexual acts.
Since the penetration is unwanted we are speaking of compulsion. This is mostly by violence but can also contain threatening with violence like pointing a knife or gun at someone. Also threatening and blackmailing are types of compulsion.
It's even called rape when the offender is not the one who does the penetration himself, forcing two or more other people to have sex with each other by threatening them. in this case the second person is the device used to rape/penetrate the other.
The big difference with assault is that in assault there is no penetration.
Raphe
A visible line or ridge of tissue on the human body that extends from the anus through the perineum.
In men, this raphe continues through the midline of the scrotum (scrotal raphe) and upwards through the posterior midline aspect of the penis (penile raphe). It is the result of a fetal developmental phenomenon whereby the scrotum (the developmental equivalent of the labia in females) and penis close toward the midline and fuse.
