Mastopathy

The morning-after pill (also called emergency pill) is an agent that up to 120 hours after unprotected intercourse greatly reduces the chance of pregnancy. The active ingredient in this pill is registered levonorgestrel, the brand name Norlevo. In the last century were also other combinations of hormones and dosages, all off-label.

The morning-after pill works in a different manner than drugs such as mifepristone, used in a time-treatment to abort an implanted embryo.
