A CD
Unless he compiled a personal CD, he did not put much effort into your gift. Chances are that he went quickly into the shop December 24th, which means that his commitment in your relationship is not so great.

Most women are not very enthusiastic when they receive a blender, coffee machine or toaster on Christmas. But he already pictures you making him coffee in the morning, which may indicate that he thinks long term.
